About The Role:

The Animator is fluent in modern motion design and knows how to leverage AI to accelerate and elevate video production. You’ll help define and evolve the motion language for a global SaaS brand trusted by the world’s largest finance teams. This is for someone who understands animation as both craft and strategy. You’ll concept, storyboard, design, animate, and produce videos using a blend of traditional tools and AI-driven workflows. Your output will shape everything from event openers to product explainers to social content. The Animator works closely with the creative team, internal members, and external vendors, helping to oversee accuracy, quality control, and deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This candidate needs to be available to our broader team between the hours of 10am-7pm Poland time.

• Builds and expands Kyriba’s motion design system across events, campaigns, product storytelling, and digital content

• Translates technical or abstract financial ideas into clean, compelling visual narratives

• Stays up to date with design and video trends and seeks innovative ways to implement those trends into your daily work to strive to further develop and grow our brand

• Creates next-level videos for C-suite and executive leadership members

• Creates video content for large scale events and trade shows held across the globe

• Ability to storyboard, design and animate videos from concept to completion

• Produce high-impact animations and videos using a hybrid toolset: After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and AI video generation tools

• Use AI to accelerate ideation, generate source visuals, previsualize scenes, and create full sequences where appropriate

• Create compelling static designs such as social graphics, event visuals, web assets, and presentation graphics when needed

• Collaborates with global department managers to maintain schedules and deadlines

• Collaborates with other designers, animators, content strategists, subject matter experts and web developers on design concepts and strategies, and defends approaches and rationale when necessary. Clearly communicates ideas and direction

• Produces animations and video content to support various marketing initiatives and internal communications

• Manages and tracks projects using Asana, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones

• Maintains organized project files, naming standards, and efficient workflows

• Oversee multiple projects with tight timelines while maintaining high production value

Education, Experience and Skills: 

• 4+ years of professional experience in motion design / animation at an agency, studio, or in-house brand team

• Expert knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and motion design fundamentals

• Highly proficient in programs such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop

• Hands-on experience creating videos using AI tools (Runway, Pika, Stable Video, or comparable)

• Proficiency in 3D programs such as Maya, Cinema 4D, and Blender preferred but not required 

• Strategic thinker who can incorporate data insights and innovation into their work

• Drive to constantly learn new skills and stay up to date with the latest technologies

• Ability to design within Kyriba’s brand standards

• Experience creating brand motion systems or contributing to major campaigns

• Experience with copyediting and proofreading for messaging consistency and brand accuracy

• A portfolio showcasing impeccable design, timing, rhythm, typography, and storytelling

• Bachelor’s degree in motion design, animation, graphic design or related field

• Must have online portfolio to be considered for this position
