Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Palatka, Florida.
The Medical-Surgical RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in alignment with departmental standards and professional nursing practice. This role requires strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting changes promptly.
• Perform ordered procedures, monitoring, and nursing interventions with accurate documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse responses.
• Provide exceptional patient care by proactively addressing patient needs.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes.
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range:
• $29.73/hr (minimum)
• $37.75/hr (approximately 10+ years experience)
• $43.20/hr (maximum | approximately 18+ years experience)
Shift Differentials:
• Nights: $4.25/hr
• Weekends: $2.00/hr
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care Medical-Surgical RN experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment start.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
