Since 1954, we’ve set the standard in behavioral health, therapy, and family support services. And we continue to grow every day. We believe in empowering our team as much as the people we serve. Our staff enjoy flexibility, professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Maine residents. If you’re looking for a career where your skills matter, your ideas are valued, and your work directly impacts your community, UCP of Maine is the place to be. Join us as we expand our programs, innovate care, and continue building brighter futures for all. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to pursue their goals and participate fully in their community. Our approach starts with listening, understanding each person’s strengths, needs, and aspirations, and building customized supports that help them thrive. Our services include individual and family support, case management, community inclusion programs, employment services, shared living, and advocacy. We help individuals develop life skills, build social connections, explore career pathways, and access meaningful employment opportunities. Employment is a key focus. Through job coaching and strong partnerships with Maine employers, we create inclusive workplace opportunities that benefit both individuals and businesses. Collaboration drives our impact. We work alongside families, schools, healthcare providers, businesses, and state agencies to ensure coordinated support and improved access to services statewide. Each year, we support thousands of people across rural and urban Maine. Our mission is simple: to build a more inclusive state where people of all abilities can contribute, connect, and live with purpose.
