Aircraft Technician/ Leadman Training Program

Looking to venture into the Aerospace industry?

Entry Requirements as a Trainee:

  • Minimum GCE “N” Level.
  • Passionate in working on aircraft and technical works.
  • No prior experience required.

 

Roles & Responsibilities as an Aircraft Technician after completion of training:

  • Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/ electronic components.
  • Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
  • Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/ or component using appropriate test sets / tools to ensure serviceability and airworthy in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities as a Leadman after completion of training:

  • Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/ electronic components.

  • Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/ or component using appropriate test sets / tools to ensure serviceability and airworthy in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.
  • Able to lead/ coach, mentor and/or manage a team of technicians through a structured OJT/ OJT assessment.
  • Able to champion production quality and safety on current initiatives or any future continuous improvement plan.
  • Able to assist engineers in troubleshooting, defect detection and rectifications of aircraft system during maintenance checks.
