Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, the Grill also boasts a full-service bar, where you can choose from over 90 different choices in tequila, as well as a wide variety of award-winning craft beverages and cocktails. At Broken Tooth Brewing, variety is the name of the game and the brewers do not disappoint: in 2016 alone, they made 73 different craft beers! The brewery is truly the backbone of our businesses, serving up the liquid gold that keeps the people comin'.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Dishmachine Operator (DMO) at Bear Tooth, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment used in our kitchens and restaurants are clean, sanitized, and organized. If you're someone who takes pride in keeping things tidy and loves working in a fast-paced environment, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!


We are hiring for weekend and evening availability. Full-time and part-time positions available.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  2. Gather bins of dishes and supplies from the kitchens
  3. Organize dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleaning
  4. Safely handle and change out dish machine chemicals as needed
  5. Wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes and restaurant equipment
  6. Deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to their designated locations
  7. Promptly report equipment quality issues to a Manager
  8. Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
  9. Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect

Requirements

Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card. Previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

  1. Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  2. Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
  3. Lift and carry 30+ lbs
  4. Work in a hot, humid, and occasionally loud environment
  5. Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  6. Stack and place items on high and low shelves
  7. Bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly
  8. Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  9. Take direction and work well with multiple personality types
