Director of Physical Therapy Full-Time Mo day -Friday  Safety Sensitive Position


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Physical Therapy to lead our hospital’s rehabilitation services. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee clinical operations, foster a collaborative team environment, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes within a dynamic healthcare setting.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the hospital’s physical therapy department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

- Lead, mentor, and evaluate physical therapy staff, fostering professional development and a positive team culture.

- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.

- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment to optimize operational efficiency.

- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, implementing improvements as needed.

- Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and quality of care are prioritized at all times.

- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent).

- Valid state licensure and certification as a licensed Physical Therapist.

- Proven leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory or director role.

- Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance standards.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster a collaborative team environment.

- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
