Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities
Collaborate with PM, Engineering, and Research partners to define and iterate on product features from concept to delivery
Communicate design ideas and decisions clearly to design team, key stakeholders, and organization leaders, providing the right level of context at each stage
Translate user insights and feedback into design solutions, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity
Produce design artifacts across fidelities (e.g., wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, redlines) using Figma, Vercel, and other AI prototyping tools
Contributes to use and adoption of design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure scalable and consistent experiences
Partners with developers during implementation to refine details and ensure designs meet specifications
Leverages expertise in front end development frameworks and languages to create solutions for our target audience and to better collaborate with front end development partners
Create quick prototypes to test ideas, gather feedback, and iterate effectively
Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and new technologies, and share learnings with the team
Participate in critiques by giving and receiving constructive feedback to improve team output
Support and collaborate with teammates, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture
Creates clarity for other members of the team while mentoring the team's newer members.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, HCI, UX, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in product or service design
OR Master’s degree in related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design
OR equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years experience applying AI domain knowledge (including generative AI and AI agents) to real-world product or service design, with an understanding of agentic experiences, their constraints, and how to integrate them seamlessly into user experiences
3+ years technical engineering experience and familiar with HTML, CSS, JS/TS, Python and comfortable with React and/or Web Components
5+ years experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with examples of high-quality design artifacts produced (e.g., diagrams, wireframes, mockups)
3+ years of end-to-end design process experience, including shipping products or delivering services to customers
3+ years of experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
4+ years of experience in strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines (Design, PM, Engineering, Research)
Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
