About the Role

<p>ETI Precision is looking for a talented Service (Repair) Technician to join its growing team in <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Frederick, MD</span>! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Service Technician evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates a variety of test and measurement equipment. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for conformance to established industry and customer standards. The Service Technician will work with Calibration Technicians, Assembly Technicians and Repair Specialists in servicing customer equipment as prioritized by senior management. This position reports to the Production Manager. The Service Technician is primarily responsible for supporting ETI calibration, assembly and repair/retrofit activities.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Office in <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Frederick, MD and surrounding areas.</span></p>
<p><strong>Day to Day Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Evaluating units for repair, performing research for replacement components, creating repair estimates, and executing on approved repairs</li>
<li>Troubleshooting problems, adjusting and calibrating customer and ETI owned instrumentation and equipment</li>
<li>Managing customer engagements focused on complete and timely responses to inquiries and requests for action</li>
<li>Assisting Regional Service and Production Managers by supporting activities that drive timely turnaround of equipment</li>
<li>Assist in the assembly of ETI equipment as requested</li>

<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least two years of experience in a related field required - Electrical or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred</li>
<li>Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field.</li>
<li>Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is required</li>
<li>Able to discuss technical issues common to the products and services ETI provides (verbally and in writing) with customers, suppliers and internal associates; (English language)</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States as needed</li>
<li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check</li>
