Machine Operator ll, Sections, 2nd Shift

Description

Kondex Corporation is looking for Machine Operators to join the Sections department.

Current openings on 2nd shift

$3.00 per hour shift premium

Current 2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learn how to set-up and operate machines in the Sickle Sections area such as blanking presses, hydraulic presses, heat treat equipment and grinding machines.
• Read prints and travelers.
• Follow established machine settings and parameters.
• Perform lock-out tag-out on equipment.
• Perform basic inspections using hand-held measuring devices.
• Work in computer system to track and close orders.
• Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
• May assist in training full time, part time, or temporary associates in the department.
• The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions. Prior blueprint reading experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Prior machine operation experience.
