About the Role
JASARA PMC is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Sustainability Manager to drive our sustainability initiatives across various projects. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies that are innovative, measurable, and aligned with both organizational goals and external regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help shape our projects to ensure they adhere to environmental best practices, thus contributing to a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of robust sustainability programs and policies across the organization.
- Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments and audits to measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Engage with clients, government agencies, and community groups to promote and advocate for sustainability initiatives.
- Provide expertise and guidance on sustainable design, green building practices, and resource conservation strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, technologies, and regulatory updates related to sustainability to keep JASARA PMC at the forefront of innovation.
- Lead and mentor team members in sustainability practices, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and awareness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability frameworks, environmental policies, and green building certification systems (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
- Strong background in sustainable practices, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on enhancing sustainability performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in sustainability or environmental management are highly desirable.
