About the opportunity

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of elderly patients to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

  • Administer medications accurately and monitor for adverse reactions, maintaining detailed records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care and address complex health needs

  • Provide education and emotional support to patients' families

  • Ensure adherence to aged care standards and regulations by maintaining accurate and timely patient records.

  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, utilizing advanced clinical skills to stabilize patients and initiate appropriate interventions.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • NDIS clearance

  • Valid work rights
