Job Summary – Mid‑Tier Engineer
Contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and forward‑thinking technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen compliance, and create measurable impact for both our clients and the business.
As a mid-level engineer on our Development Team, you will design, build, deploy, and maintain applications, APIs, and automated email services that support and accelerate our Customer Experience and ShopperNOW platforms. You’ll play a key role in embedding innovation, automation, and AI across our service delivery, ensuring our technology ecosystem is robust, secure, and continuously improving.
Working within a small, collaborative engineering team, you will apply modern DevOps practices, build with the Microsoft technology stack, leverage Azure services, and maintain high quality through automated testing and strong engineering standards.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain C#/.NET services and APIs for our applications and platform
- Contribute to architecture discussions and translate product requirements into technical solutions
- Build and operate Azure workloads (e.g., App Services, Functions, SQL/Azure SQL, storage, monitoring)
- Assist the team implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated test coverage
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering peers to plan, deliver, and iterate
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience writing, deploying, and maintaining C#/.NET applications in production
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Azure fundamentals (deployments, observability, security)
- Experience with DevOps practices (pipelines, branching, environments, release management)
- A mindset for quality, security, and scalability, and comfort working in a small, agile team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ in technical leadership roles.
- Experience in marketing, retail, or CX-focused environments preferred.
- Exposure to agency environments or client-service models is a plus.
- Knowledge of field marketing workflows and retail execution platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of agile product methodologies, user story development, and release planning.
