Job Description

SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Full Time Wash Bay Supervisor to join the team at Cairns Airport.

YOUR ROLE

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring every vehicle is presented to the highest standard, delivering a positive experience for every customer. 
  • Overseeing the cleaning, inspection, and preparation of vehicles, maintaining asset quality and availability for rental. 
  • Leading by example, communicating clearly, and fostering a collaborative team environment to achieve daily goals. 
  • Promoting and enforce safe work practices, promptly identifying hazards, and ensuring a safe environment for all team members. 
  • Upholding company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, ensuring all work is completed honestly and accurately. 
  • Prioritising and delegating tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and operations run smoothly. 
  • Driving operational efficiency by monitoring workflows, identifying improvements, and ensuring optimal use of resources. 
  • Training, mentoring, and motivating your team, supporting their growth and ensuring consistent, high-quality results. 

 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Leadership Capability: You will have proven ability to inspire a high-performing detailing team, driving a culture of efficiency, safety, and productivity while upholding SIXT Australia’s renowned standards and achieving our shared goals 
  • Flexibility: You are willing to work a rotating roster between 6am and midnight, Monday to Sunday, including school holidays, weekends, and public holidays 
  • Communication: You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to Detail: You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work. 

Experience in vehicle detailing or cleaning is preferable, however not essential.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening. Please note that all candidates will need a current provisional or full driver's licence and working rights in Australia.
