Position Summary

Turndown iron, bronze and aluminum impellers to correct size using a CNC lathe.


Job Description

  • Turndown impellers to proper diameter
  • Measure diameter with dial calipers.  Mark impeller with part number and diameter
  • Move turndown impellers to balancing machine
  • Clean lathe and perform routine maintenance as required


Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Lift up to 20 lbs repetitively
  • Ability to use basic inspection equipment (dial calipers)
  • Knowledge of basic machinist skills, willing to train
  • Stand up to 8 hours per day
  • Minimum education/experience:  High school diploma or GED
