Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt (25–30 hours/week)
Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY
Healthy Kids is seeking a Website Specialist to help maintain, improve, and optimize our website with a strong focus on lead conversion, usability, and brand consistency, ensuring that our site is highly parent-friendly and helps families quickly and easily find the information they need.
The ideal candidate has expert-level or extensive experience using Wix, including Dynamic Pages and CMS collections, and understands how parents search for childcare—by location, age group, schedule, cost, and enrollment timelines. This role requires a strong parent journey mindset, balancing clarity, speed, and simplicity while supporting a growing, multi-location organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Management & CMS
- Update and maintain website content using Wix, including Dynamic Pages and CMS collections.
- Manage location- and program-based pages using structured CMS data.
- Create and maintain landing pages, forms, and conversion paths.
- Troubleshoot and edit site functionality as needed.
Parent Journey & User Experience
- Design and maintain website experiences that reflect the parent decision-making journey, from first visit through inquiry and enrollment.
- Ensure parents can quickly locate essential information, including program details, locations, schedules, grades served, and next steps.
- Simplify navigation and layouts to reduce friction for busy families.
- Optimize pages for mobile users and parents with varying levels of technical access.
- Review pages through a parent lens, identifying confusion points or drop-offs.
Design & Brand Consistency
- Assist with page design and visual improvements across desktop and mobile.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital assets.
- Support accessibility best practices to ensure the site is usable for all families.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor website performance and traffic metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve usability and increase lead conversions.
- Conduct testing to ensure the site functions correctly and meets quality standards.
Collaboration & Content
- Collaborate on photography, design, and creative projects.
- Support storytelling efforts, including blog posts or features that highlight the impact of Healthy Kids Programs.
- Work with program and registration teams to ensure website accuracy and effectiveness.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert or extensive experience using Wix, including Dynamic Pages and CMS collections (required).
- Strong understanding of UX, responsive design, and accessibility principles.
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review performance data and recommend improvements.
- Ability to work independently while taking feedback and direction when needed.
