About the Role

Description

Job Summary 

The Hand Packer is responsible for safely and correctly packaging eggs. 


Responsibilities 

  • Remove eggs from line and place into packaging
  • Remove & dispose of damaged or dirty eggs
  • Communicate with denester team member on product flow changes
  • Label cartons for packing
  • Keep work area clean, follow GMP, wear appropriate PPE 
  • Complete general cleaning duties in area
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and with a team 
  • Ability to take direction and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for duration of workshift
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs regularly

Responsabilidades

  • Retire los huevos de la línea y colóquelos en el empaque
  • Retire y deseche los huevos dañados o sucios
  • Comunícate con un miembro del equipo del denester sobre los cambios en el flujo de productos

  • Completar las tareas generales de limpieza en el área

Requisitos 

  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y en equipo 
  • Capacidad para seguir instrucciones y seguir instrucciones detalladas
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de ritmo rápido

Requisitos físicos

  • Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante el turno de trabajo
  • Capacidad para levantar hasta 30 libras ocasionalmente, hasta 10 libras regularmente
