We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data & AI Engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and APIs supporting advanced data products—including Machine Learning and AI-powered models. You will primarily work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with additional projects leveraging AWS.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable systems, enabling data-driven products (such as recommendation engines, search engines or Programmatic yield optimization algorithms), and innovating with AI (for e.g. to understand and generate videos).

Missions :

• Design, Develop & Optimize Data Pipelines:  Architect, implement, and manage robust, scalable data pipelines that process petabytes of data using GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.) or AWS similar technology stack.
• API Development for Data Products: Build and maintain APIs powering data products and services, with a focus on integration with Machine Learning and AI models (e.g., recommendation engines, AdTech optimization engines).
• Collaborate on AI & Video Innovation: Work closely with Video motion designers and Product Managers to leverage AI for the analysis, enrichment, and generation of video content, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in video understanding and creation.
• Performance & Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor, and optimize data workflows for both speed and cost efficiency at massive scale.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, ML engineers, backend engineers and other stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.

• Requirements:

  5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.

  Proven experience designing and operating large-scale data pipelines (preferably processing petabytes of data).

  Strong expertise in GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.) and experience with AWS data services.

  Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more languages for backend/API development (e.g., Go, Java, Node.js).

  Experience building and deploying APIs for data products, especially those integrating ML/AI models.

  Familiarity with modern data orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).

  Experience working with video data and/or media pipelines is a strong plus.

  Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

   

  Nice to Have:

  Experience with AdTech or recommendation systems.

  Knowledge of MLOps and model serving in production environments.

  Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and video analysis/generation techniques (Sora, Veo,..)
