About the Role

Description

The Sound Technician is responsible for maintaining and operating the sound board during Entertainment productions in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Sound Technician will also assist with other technical duties within the Entertainment Department. The Sound Technician will assist in the sound set-up, operation, and take-down of all sound equipment used for the assigned performance. The Sound Technician must be willing to assist in all other show set-up and tear-down as needed.

This position is seasonal. Seasonal employees perform their work at certain seasons and periods of the year. Their work, by its nature, is not continuous nor is it carried on throughout the year. A seasonal employee who is employed at the conclusion of the season will be terminated.

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of sound equipment is essential with regards to wireless mic and sound mixing.
  • Basic experience and knowledge of music technology (i.e. Main Stage, Garage Band, Protools, etc.) is appreciated.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stressful situations in a clam and professional manner.
  • Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting.
  • Able stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours.
  • Able to regularly move and/or lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to perform work duties outside in varying weather prevalent at the time.
  • Requires early arrivals and/or late night departures.
