CNC Swiss Machinist

Full-time | Permanent

Hourly | 2nd Shift (Shift differential included) 

Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

 $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!!

About this Opportunity:

The CNC Swiss Machinist will produce machined parts by safely operating a computer numeric control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and continuous improvement, interpreting blueprints, dimension, tolerances and producing high quality components to specifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
  • Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and specifications.
  • Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Follow ISO 9001/ISO 13845 ANSI/AAMI/ISO standards.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year experience utilizing a personal or business computer.
  • Minimum three years of verifiable work history.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Minimum of six months’ experience as a Swiss CNC Machine Operator or Swiss Machinist 
  • Hands-on experience with high-precision measuring tools, including Oasis, Kiosk, CMM, and/or Keyence 
  • Experience performing quality inspections to verify parts meet tolerance and specification requirements
