About the Role

Description </strong></p><p>Our client is looking for a Remote Business Development Manager to their team in the US. This role is heavily focused on new business development, working with dealer channels and national accounts ranging from $100K to $6M+ annually. The company is experiencing consistent double-digit growth and recently tripled manufacturing output, with lead times that outperform many competitors. While the territory covers the Western region, it is not expected to be tackled all at once. You’ll have the autonomy to prioritize key states and build a strategic plan over time. Travel is purposeful and planned. About 80% of your time will be focused on new customer acquisition. With an average six-month sales cycle, the first year comes with a guarantee to support your ramp-up. Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Develop and grow new business by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new clients<br>• Build strong relationships with dealers, national accounts, and key stakeholders<br>• Collaborate with sales, design, and ops teams to meet sales and customer goals.<br>• Manage the sales process from opportunity through contract execution and order fulfillment<br>• Prepare and present pricing, technical recommendations, and supporting documentation<br>• Track orders and maintain accurate records in SAP, providing regular status updates to clients<br>• Support clients throughout the order lifecycle, escalating issues as needed<br>• Conduct sales and technical training for dealers and partners<br>• Support marketing and product documentation, including data sheets and training materials<br>• Travel to support dealers, national accounts, and participate in trade shows</p><p><strong>[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (power generation exp. req.) Qualifications </strong></p><p>• 3+ years of <strong>electric power generation systems</strong> experience required <br>• Background supporting sales cycles (inside sales, outside sales, or sales engineering) required <br>• Willingness and ability to travel around 50% (typically by air) <br>• Must be within driving distance to an airport </p>
