As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for the following


 - Interface with manufacturing, design, purchasing and process engineering on quality issues. 

- Assist with coordination of Defective Material Reports (DMR) – including containment / disposition actions and root cause /    corrective action investigations

- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical assembly problems 

- Participate in Lean (5S), Six Sigma, and Kaizen Blitz activities.

- Perform First Article Inspection, Inprocess Inspection, Receiving inspection, and Final inspection activities.

- Complete Test Reports per customer requirements.

Requirements

  

- Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field.

- Experience with inspections of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.

- Understanding schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechanical testing techniques

- Responsible, organized and detail-oriented, self-starter and team player with excellent communications, analytical, organizational and time management skills. 

- Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with customers, vendors, engineers,

- Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as a member of a team 

- Ability to work well in a small team environment.

- Experience working in an AS9100 or Lean Six Sigma environment is a plus
