About the Role

Description
We’re looking for a motivated, experienced Team Lead to oversee and grow our Retail Roofing Sales Team at our Tuscaloosa, AL office. In this role, you’ll coach and support a group of sales consultants, hold them accountable to performance goals, assist with closing deals, and help drive overall revenue growth. This is a producing leadership role, meaning you’ll lead from the front while helping your team succeed and deliver an outstanding customer experience.


Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to hit team and company revenue targets
Lead, coach, and hold sales consultants accountable to individual performance goals
Train team members on sales techniques, roofing product knowledge, and company processes
Conduct ride-alongs and provide in-field support to improve close rates
Assist sales consultants with complex estimates and closing opportunities
Generate personal sales and help find new customer opportunities through referrals and networking
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and referrals
Review sales performance, trends, and market insights to identify growth opportunities
Ensure accurate documentation, contracts, and smooth handoff to production
Partner with other departments to ensure strong communication and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of roofing sales experience
Proven ability to close retail roofing deals
Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching a sales team preferred
Strong leadership, accountability, and communication skills
Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategy as needed
Customer-first mindset with a strong drive for results
Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
Valid driver’s license and ability to perform roof inspections


Compensation & Benefits
Finance role includes a competitive commission structure, $30,000 base salary (draw against commissions), 3% Gross Profit team bonus, company truck, and participation in the company MIP (Management Incentive Plan). All project management and production are handled by our internal team. Clear advancement opportunities and long-term career growth.
