About the Role

RI Children’s Dentistry is seeking a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant to join our well-established pediatric dental practice. With a strong reputation for providing exceptional care to children in a fun, welcoming environment, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow your dental career in a patient-centered practice. Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures 
  • Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments 
  • Help create a positive, calm experience for pediatric patients 
  • Take and process dental X-rays 
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols 
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care 
  • Chart clinical notes accurately and efficiently 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Dental assisting experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus) 
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures 
  • Ability to work well with children and families 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented 
  • CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
