Learning & Development Specialist III

Role Summary

Zafin is building a modern, modular, AI-enabled learning ecosystem to upskill employees, clients, and partners across our global SaaS platform. The L&D Specialist (Video Content Creator (AI-First) is a pivotal creator role responsible for transforming product knowledge, configuration steps, and technical concepts into high-quality micro-learning videos, walk-throughs, visuals, and interactive content.

This role blends learning design, media production, and AI tooling to build content at scale for Zafin University and Learning Hub. You will be the engine behind our Learning Visual Content Factory producing Synthesia-style micro modules, product configuration explainers, and branded visuals that make complex topics simple, engaging, and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Driven Video & Multimedia Production

• Create micro-learning videos (3–5 mins) using Synthesia or similar AI-based avatar/video tools.
• Produce screen capture walk-throughs for product configuration and demos (Camtasia, OBS, Loom, etc.).
• Build motion-graphic explainers using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity for all learning content (intros, outros, lower-thirds, templates).

Internal

1. Instructional Content Creation

• Convert scripts/storyboards into multimedia learning modules.
• Apply micro-learning principles: chunking, visual sequencing, pacing, voiceovers.
• Create short-form content: animated diagrams, product flows, scenario-based snippets, quizzes (optional).
• Collaborate with Learning Manager to align learning outputs to defined outcomes.

1. Visual Design & Asset Development

• Design supporting assets: screen overlays, icons, product diagrams, infographics.
• Create thumbnail and cover images optimized for Zafin University search and navigation.
• Build and maintain a reusable content component library to accelerate production.

1. Product Learning Enablement

• Work with Product SMEs to understand new features, configuration flows, and use cases.
• Translate technical inputs into clear, external and internal audience-friendly learning visuals.
• Update modules quickly for monthly product refresh cycles.

1. Quality Control & Delivery

• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and visual consistency across all content.
• Optimize videos for LMS performance (compression, resolution, format).
• Conduct internal reviews and incorporate feedback from SMEs, Product, Customer Enablement, Cloud, and senior/leadership stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 4–7 years of experience in video production, multimedia design, or instructional media.
• Hands-on mastery of:
• Experience building micro-learning or short-form content for tech or SaaS products.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and convert them into simple visual narratives.
• Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with SaaS product workflows or enterprise software UX.
• Exposure to banking/fintech ecosystem (optional but valuable).
• Basic understanding of learning design principles.
• Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Absorb, Docebo, Cornerstone, LMS365).
• Motion graphics animation experience.
• Voiceover/editing experience (human or AI-based).
