Polymer was established in conjunction with PAG, one of the world's largest Asia-focused alternative asset managers, in 2019.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Job Responsibilities / Job Brief</strong></div><div>The Product Specialists team acts as a crucial link between investment teams and investors, focusing on relationship management, strategy and insights communication, business development and product development.</div><div>Key Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>Serve as a product manager covering Polymer’s various investment strategies</li><li>Develop and maintain marketing materials including pitchbooks, product profiles, white papers, etc.</li><li>Prepare regular investment commentaries and reporting for clients and third-party databases</li><li>Complete Requests for Proposals, facilitate due diligence and handle ad-hoc investor queries</li><li>Coordinate marketing activities in partnership with sales/distribution and external partners</li><li>Assist with developing new product initiatives and product positioning efforts with an understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape</li><li>Collaborate internally with support functions to ensure alignment and seamless information flow</li><li>Ensure strict compliance with relevant rules and regulations</li></ul><div>Requirements</div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred</li><li>At least 2 years of relevant working experience in investment management, equity research or product management</li><li>Extensive knowledge of equity markets, valuation models, portfolio management and risk management</li><li>Strong analytical and interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences</li><li>Must be detail-oriented, hard-working, and self-motivated with a sense of ownership and accountability</li><li>Must be a strong team player that can collaborate globally and thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)</li></ul><div>Good to have</div><ul><li>Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (written and oral); fluent in Cantonese</li><li>MBA or professional designations including CFA, CAIA or FRM</li><li>Proficiency in financial tools such as Bloomberg, Nasdaq eVestment and/or Morningstar Direct</li></ul><div>Why join us?</div><ul><li>Prime Location: You'll work full time from our centrally located office space in the heart of Hong Kong</li><li>High-Growth: We have a team of highly ambitious professionals with a strong desire to learn and develop their skills.</li><li>Equal opportunity employer: We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.</li><li>Global exposure: With six offices and three affiliate offices around the region, Polymer teams work together to solve meaningful problems at scale.</li><li>Dynamic and Collaborative Environment: Opportunity to work with industry leaders and experts to engage in exciting projects and fulfilling challenges.</li></ul><div>Some of our Benefits</div><ul><li>Paid Annual Leave</li><li>Medical Group Insurance</li><li>In-built Gym facility</li><li>DEI and Philanthropy Initiatives</li><li>Professional Learning & Development Opportunities</li></ul>
