About the Role

Description

 The IPTV Manager will be responsible for operational ownership of the venue-wide IPTV system at MFP to ensure consistent content presentation across all stadium screens throughout matches and year-round events. This role will manage channel mapping, screen zoning, event mode presets, readiness checks, troubleshooting triage, documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors. 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


Systems & Operations 

  • Oversee the end-to-end operation of VITEC IPTV systems (head end, encoders, decoders, streaming services) and digital signage networks.  
  • Lead IPTV and signage operations for game days, concerts, private events, and special engagements, including testing content pre-event and real-time support during activation. 
  • Manage IPTV content distribution, ensuring feeds and channels are scheduled, accurate, and operational during events and daily use.  
  • Supervise the CMS (content management system) for both IPTV and digital signage,including uploading, testing, scheduling, and publishing content.  
  • Monitor system health, perform quality control, and proactively troubleshoot hardware or software issues. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. 

Content & Programming 

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule branded content, promotions, live feeds, sponsorship messaging, and informational signage across all screens.  
  • Work with marketing, partnerships, communication,s and security teams to integrate campaigns, sponsor deliverables, and venue communications.  

Technical Leadership & Strategy 

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement system upgrades, new signage technology, or enhancements to existing platforms.  
  • Collaborate with IT, network engineers, and facilities teams on integration, multicast IP routing, and performance optimization.  
  • Manage vendor relationships — including IPTV platform providers, digital signage suppliers, and external technical partners. 

Training & Support 

  • Provide training and documentation to internal staff on content tools, system use, and best practices.  
  • Act as the central technical contact for IPTV and signage inquiries. 

Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience managing IPTV systems, digital signage, AV networks, or similar broadcast/distributed video environments.  
  • Proven knowledge of IPTV platforms (e.g., VITEC, Cisco Vision, TriplePlay, etc.) and digital signage CMS tools.  
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, scheduling workflows, and multicast networking (IGMP, DHCP, TCP/IP).  
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting, project coordination, and content workflow skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.  
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or large venue environments.  
  • Familiarity with live production workflows and display technologies (LED walls, interactive kiosks).  
  • Basic knowledge of creative tools (Photoshop, video editing tools) for preparing or adjusting content. 

Work Location:  

On-site role based at Miami Freedom Park with frequent coordination across departments. 

Work schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
