As a Mechanical Engineer in our ATE team, you will play a key role in the design and development of automated machinery and test equipment used in high‑power dissipation production environments. This role combines end‑to‑end mechanical design of automated systems with close collaboration across HW and SW teams, as well as R&D, Automation, and Production departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for automated test equipment and production machinery, from concept through production.
- Create 3D models and detailed production drawings in SolidWorks, and release full manufacturing documentation.
- Lead mechanical design aspects of automated systems, including mechanisms, structures, motion components, and serviceability.
- Collaborate closely with HW, SW, R&D, Automation, and Production teams to ensure robust system‑level integration.
- Define materials, manufacturing processes, and surface finishes with focus on cost, durability, and manufacturability.
- Work closely with vendors and production on manufacturability, integration, and continuous mechanical improvements.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical engineering design.
- Proven experience in releasing production drawings and manufacturing files.
- Practical experience in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and assemblies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Professional‑level English.
- Experience with ATE, automation systems, or production machinery - advantage
- Strong knowledge of GD&T - advantage
- Experience working closely with HW teams and PCB‑related mechanical design - advantage
