Power Transformer Project Manager Summary: Oversees projects to ensure customer requirements are met including specifications and contractual deliverables. Has overall responsibility for all contact with the customer after receipt of order and procurement of all job-related material & works closely with the cost estimator to ensure project review feedback is incorporated into future projects.  
Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Manage the entire project life cycle from customer purchase order to execution and final closeout.
  •  Interprets customer requirements & monitors contracts, specifications and addendums to ensure project meets customer requirements 
  • Acts as a focal point for customer contact after receipt of order including visits, calls, & deliverables
  • Fully coordinate & support customers during customer factory visits (hosting lunch, dinner, etc.), which may require flexible working hours. 
  • Participate in engineering and production planning meetings to ensure      timelines are being met & requirements are being fulfilled, as well as organizing any problem resolutions necessary during the project 
  • Manages warranty claims
  • Track status of job materials as specified by procurement, engineering or production in line with project timeline
  • Ability    to travel to customer sites/visits & industry conferences/meeting as deemed necessary


Requirements

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/engineering or 5 years of experience.
  • Strong Computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point Required. 
  • PMP Certification & background in electrical/mechanical products a plus
