$21.00 – $23.00/hour + $200 Monthly Auto Allowance
Onsite 1 Bed / 1 Bath Apartment Included (Employee rent: $677/month)

Beach Front Property Management is looking for an energetic and motivated District Property Manager to oversee a small portfolio of apartment communities in the Whittier area (56 units total). This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on property management professional who enjoys leadership, variety, and building strong resident and team relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

As a District Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful operation of multiple communities while serving as a trusted leader and problem-solver.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned properties to ensure compliance, efficiency, and performance goals are met
  • Manage deposit accounting and ensure disbursements comply with California’s 21-day legal timeline
  • Conduct quarterly file audits and routine property inspections to maintain company and regulatory standards
  • Handle resident relations, lease compliance, notices, and account ledgers with professionalism and empathy
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and oversee special projects as needed
  • Support leasing and pre-leasing efforts during peak times
  • Monitor operating and capital budgets; review and approve expenses within company guidelines
  • Act as a liaison between ownership and company leadership
  • Step in as Interim Property Manager during staffing transitions
  • Travel between assigned sites and supervise multi-site operations

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of multifamily or apartment property management experience
  • 1+ year of leadership or staff supervision experience
  • Strong knowledge of California property management laws and Fair Housing regulations
  • Experience with Yardi property management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Customer service mindset with leasing experience
  • Reliable transportation for travel between properties
