Associate Director, Data & Tech Consulting

The Data & Tech Solutions team is pivotal in the delivery of modern agency services. It will serve as the primary technical liaison between client and other tech partners, ensuring seamless integration, measurement, and optimization of marketing technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
External-Facing Responsibilities
- Support identification of client business challenges and contribute to hypothesis development on how marketing technology and data strategies can drive solutions.
- Evaluate how marketplace shifts (privacy changes, signal loss, platform evolution, AI advancements) impact the client’s current data and technology setup, and recommend practical adjustments.
- Assist in developing integrated data and technology solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Own day-to-day project management, including building and maintaining detailed project plans to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Serve as a primary working-level contact for client communications, ensuring follow-ups, status updates, and action items are clearly tracked and executed.
- Manage external vendor communications, tracking progress, deliverables, and timelines while escalating risks when necessary
Internal-Facing Responsibilities
- Support vendor evaluations, capability assessments, and RFP processes.
- Lead the design and facilitation of structured tests, including defining measurement frameworks, KPIs, and learning objectives.
- Maintain rigorous project tracking across stakeholders to ensure accountability and cross-functional alignment.
- Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities, bringing forward solution-oriented recommendations.
- Coordinate communication across analytics, operations, investment, and strategy teams to ensure seamless integration of MarTech initiatives.
- Contribute to the Data & Technology (D&T) Test & Learn roadmap, helping prioritize initiatives tied to business impact.
- Integrate technology initiatives into the broader learning agenda, ensuring insights ladder up to measurable business outcomes.
- Draft POVs and internal thought leadership on emerging technologies, platforms, and data capabilities.
Required Skills
- Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data, onboarding)
- Demonstrated knowledge in the latest privacy regulation updates and current challenges, security evaluations, etc.
- Understanding of signal transformation (cookie deprecation, ID graphs, etc)
- Awareness of latest developments and offerings from data sources/partners
- Proficiency in 1P data use cases and solutions
- Expertise in assessments and improvement of processes
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Education and Experience
- A university degree and 5-7 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting
Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
