About the Role

Description

Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Web and Digital Interface Designer II to support digital knowledge management, user interface design, and strategic content publication within a federal program environment.


This mid-level role requires hands-on experience designing and maintaining digital platforms, structuring complex information for web-based publication, and ensuring compliance with governance and style standards. The selected candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to transform research, reports, and strategic documentation into clear, accessible, and user-friendly digital formats.


This position requires full-time onsite support in San Diego, CA and an active Secret clearance at time of hire.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured document and literature research to support strategic digital content development
  • Compile, organize, and catalogue background materials for publication on strategic and official information platforms
  • Design, maintain, and enhance digital content within Confluence and SharePoint Online
  • Format and structure complex reports, summaries, bibliographies, presentations, and white papers for digital publication
  • Ensure online content complies with applicable style guides, formatting standards, and governance requirements
  • Perform quality assurance checks to validate accuracy, clarity, completeness, and proper cross-referencing
  • Gather digital content requirements from stakeholders and translate them into structured, user-friendly web layouts
  • Train and educate users on proper content formatting, publishing standards, and digital collaboration tools
  • Provide progress updates and recommendations regarding website improvements, automation enhancements, and usability optimization

Requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree


Experience

 3 years of professional experience designing digital user interfaces or websites  


Required Technical Skills

  • Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint Online
  • Knowledge in using Adobe Creative Suite platforms, Figma
  • Basic HTML/CSS

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA
