Job Description

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 7am-3:30pm

The Warehouse Associate position entails critical responsibilities that are essential to the efficient operation of our distribution center. These responsibilities include:

  • Operating forklifts* and other warehouse equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Standup Forklift Experience is Required.*
  • Meticulously receiving and processing incoming products to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Executing thorough checks for product quality and order accuracy to maintain our high standards.
  • Strategically loading trucks to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Utilizing handheld scanners to complete load verifications with utmost attention to detail.
  • Adapting to and performing effectively in cold storage environments, utilizing company-provided insulated gear.
  • Supporting the Production Department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and cross-functional capabilities.

The successful execution of these responsibilities is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a high level of commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory control 
  • Willingness to obtain certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift or pallet jack 
  • Ability to work with yeast and flour products 
  • Must successfully pass a preemployment background check  

Additional Information

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
