Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring, faith-filled educator to teach students in Grades 3–5. The successful candidate will nurture academic excellence, faith development, and positive character formation within a Catholic school environment.
Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of
Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards for Grades 3–5
- Create a supportive classroom environment grounded in Catholic values and Gospel teachings
- Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth
- Integrate Catholic teachings into daily instruction and classroom routines
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parish community
- Participate in school liturgies, faith activities, and professional development
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Commitment to Catholic education and support of the school’s mission
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a faith-based school community
- Prior experience teaching elementary grades is an asset
- Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, but not required.
- Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church.
