Seasonal Summer Merchandiser

Looking for a fun and fast-paced summer job outside of the office? La Crosse Beverage, in Onalaska, WI is now hiring for Summer Merchandisers. Our Summer Merchandisers assist in providing in-store support to our accounts by merchandising and stocking beer and liquor products at off premise accounts. Merchandising includes stocking shelves, building displays, installing POS, as well as keeping POS presentable, rotating stock, and ensuring products are presented for consumer purchase.

Schedule:

This is a full-time seasonal position which may require full weekend availability.

Start times are between 5-6 AM and end times may vary.

The schedule for this position is Sunday-Wednesday, or Wednesday-Saturday.  There is a specific number of openings for each schedule.

Required availability the week before and week of holidays.

Compensation:

$18/hour and mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS mileage rate.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Maintaining fresh product at retail by rotating, reorganizing, and refilling shelves and coolers
• Communicating with managers and team members on a regular basis
• Handle inventory and reorganize back stock, shelves, displays, cooler and other areas that product is kept
• Build displays in a manner that allows for fun and professional representation of products
• Work with customers and their needs to complete tasks in a retail space.
• Assist in the put away of delivered product while maintaining good organization and time management

Requirements

Skills and Abilities include:

• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
• Goal oriented and focused
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance is required

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
• Climbing up and down ladders
