Anthem Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team. Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures and adjustments
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for orthodontic appointments
- Take dental impressions, digital scans, and radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on orthodontic appliances and oral hygiene
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Current certifications as required by state regulations (if applicable)
