Shift Trade Supervisor (Mechanical)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding Maintenance Team at Ulan Underground. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Shift Supervisor will be responsible for effectively planning, executing and coordinating a range of maintenance and infrastructure management activities. You will coordinate and supervise a team of mechanical or electrical trades people and contractors to ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to specification.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and coordinate maintenance activities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of mechanical trades people and contractors

• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently in line with operational plans and procedures

• Asset management and reporting in line with policies and procedures

• Vacant positions are available on mid-week (Mon-Thurs) or weekend roster (Fri-Sun)

About you:

• Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification

• 2+ years underground coal mining experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strong working relationships

• Proven experience leading teams through high volume maintenance activities

• Sound working knowledge of SAP and Asset Management systems
