About the Role

Description

 Inter Miami CF is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Plumber to support the daily operations of our stadium and training facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plumbing systems across club properties through installation, maintenance, and repair, while adhering to all local codes and safety standards and collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  •  Install pipes (copper, PVC, cast iron), fittings, valves, fixtures (toilets, sinks, water heaters), and equipment for water, waste, and gas systems, often following blueprints.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspect systems, troubleshoot issues (leaks, low pressure, clogs), and repair damaged pipes and equipment.
  • Test pipes with air/water, check water pressure, install backflow preventers, and service boiler systems.
  • Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Work with contractors, electricians, and other trades on complex projects and serve as a direct customer contact.
  • Estimate costs, select materials, prepare bids, and sometimes oversee apprentices. 


Requirements

  •  State-issued Journeyman or Master Plumbing License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience in commercial and/or residential settings 
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Physical fitness for kneeling, standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety practices, and building codes.
