At Western Montana Clinic, we are continuing our 100-year tradition of providing excellent health care to the community. We are a group of local, independent providers practicing in multiple specialties. We are seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team in the Laboratory in Broadway Building downtown.

   Variable schedule: Monday - Friday, hours between 7:00am - 5:30pm


In this position you will:

  • Receive, process, and perform registrations and order entries on all send-out referral testing.
  • Prepare, log, and properly store samples for courier to pick up.
  • Order tests with appropriate referral lab.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries: this involves responding to various test results in the laboratory and customer inquiries for sample requirements.
  • Organize workflow to assure collections are completed in a timely fashion, assists section staff in organizing department to meet needs of customer and acts as liaison between providers, nurses, and lab.
  • Perform job duties and roles of Phlebotomist as necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality according to the Confidentiality Policy and HIPPA standards.
  • Complete all mandatory training as required.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to accept new responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements of Phlebotomist:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate
  • Laboratory experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail for accuracy a must and good interpersonal skills are preferred

The successful Phlebotomist candidate will be subject to a background check.
