Pay: Range starts at $17/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)
Available Schedules:
- Valley Plaza: Wed (Thurs night) - Sun (Sat night) / 12am-8am | Valley Woods: Mon (Sun night) / 12am-8am
- Valley Plaza: Sunday - Wednesday | 10pm-8am

Job Summary & Deliverables
The Security Officer provides surveillance of company property and protection for employees and visitors. The Officer detects suspicious behavior and prevents vandalism, theft, and other criminal or disruptive behavior. The Officer inspires respect and authority and enforces all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and positive environment.
Essential Functions
- Patrols assigned location regularly to maintain order and a safe environment
- Monitors and authorizes the entrance of vehicles or people to the property
- Escorts trespassers from the area
- Secures all exits, doors, and windows at the close of business
- Reviews surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigates suspicious activity or possessions
- Responds to alarms, assesses the situation, and investigates as necessary
- Provides assistance to people in need
- Apprehends and detains perpetrators according to legal protocols before the arrival of authorities
- Submits daily reports of surveillance activity and critical incidents
Requirements
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
- One year of security experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Private Security Officer license in employed state
- CPR certification
- Valley de-escalation certification
