Park Place is the first retirement community in Elmhurst. This elegant five-star community is conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a Part-time Hospitality Aide to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents!

The primary purpose of your job position is the provision of resident services, assist in the serving of food/beverages, prepare Grab ‘N Go food items and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident.
• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
• Assists in serving food/beverages that are attractive in appearance.
• Prep food items that can be packaged and sold as “Grab ‘n Go items in our Bistro
• Assist in Serving food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas.
• Return clean dishware to proper storage areas for next meal.
• Assist in cleaning work area/Bistro as well as assisting to clean any equipment as needed.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Available to work weekends.
- On the job training provided.
