Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a permanent opportunity in Aventura, Florida.

In this role, the Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and exceptional patient experience. This position serves as a key clinical interface with patients, providers, and care teams to support efficient and accurate imaging services.

This opportunity is well-suited for both experienced technologists and new graduates who have successfully passed state boards. The position offers a structured schedule with consistent 8-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities include:

Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Ensuring strict adherence to patient safety standards and radiation protection guidelines.

Preparing patients for imaging procedures and explaining processes clearly and compassionately.

Accurately positioning patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

Maintaining imaging equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

Collaborating with providers and clinical staff to support timely patient care and workflow efficiency.

Employment Details:

This is a permanent, full-time position with rotating weekends. Evening, mixed, and day shifts are available. All shifts are 8-hour shifts.

Compensation:

Hourly compensation is based on years of experience using a structured pay grid.

Hourly Pay Range:

$27.09 – $37.92 per hour

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiography required
• ARRT (Registered Radiographer) certification REQUIRED
• Active Florida State Radiologic Technologist license required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment start date
• New graduates who have passed state boards will be considered
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
