Description

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a permanent opportunity in Miami, Florida.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental requirements and state scope of practice. As an essential member of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs diagnostic testing, administers therapeutic interventions, and manages patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.

• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.

• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen delivery, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.

• Assist with placement of artificial airways and manage airway support.

• Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

• Monitor patient response to therapy and intervene appropriately for adverse reactions.

• Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients.

• Respond to emergent patient situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.

COMPENSATION

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• $30.34/hour (minimum)

• $41.50/hour (maximum)

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license for the position you are applying for.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP) required.

• Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Respiratory Therapy required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
