About the Role

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Surgical Step Down unit supporting post-operative and medically complex patients requiring close monitoring and coordinated care. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple shifts while delivering high-quality nursing care in a collaborative inpatient environment.


The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and providing individualized patient care through age-appropriate assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate documentation. Nurses administer treatments and medications, evaluate patient progress, and utilize critical thinking and delegation skills to support optimal patient outcomes using electronic medical record systems.


Schedule:

Day, evening, or night shifts available


Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $30.47 to $45.71 based on experience.

Sign-on bonus available up to $30,000 for experienced RNs or up to $20,000 for other qualified RN candidates.


Requirements

Education:

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure


Licensure and Certification:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure

- CPR certification required

- Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required


Other Qualifications:

- Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation

- Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements

- Ability to meet essential job functions
