Financial Controller

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take full ownership of the company’s books while driving process improvements and collaborating across the organization. Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for all accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with US GAAP.
- Own the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasts, including monthly and quarterly budget tracking and reporting to department leaders.
- Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, planning, and long-term financial modelling.
- Manage cash flow planning and ongoing cash management activities.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, internal controls, and workflows across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, and management to resolve financial discrepancies, support project needs, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee tax reporting, annual filings, and statutory compliance, coordinating with external auditors and advisors.
- Supervise payroll processes and ensure accurate accounting of employee benefits and social provisions.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and tailored reports to support executive decision-making.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant with a BA in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of US GAAP.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a hi-tech company, or experience as a Senior Auditor in a Big 4 firm specializing in the technology sector.
- Experience working with public companies or US-reporting entities is an advantage.
- Strong working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- High proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to integrate AI capabilities to improve and make a more efficient workflows and analytics.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
