OIA partners with healthcare providers such as health systems, academic medical centers, and radiology groups to develop, market and operate quality, patient friendly, service oriented outpatient imaging centers. OIA’s business model is to invest equity in each project alongside its local partners while providing development, management, marketing, billing and collection services to the joint venture. OIA can assist in identifying and evaluating markets for development and acquisition targets. OIA manages the analysis and due diligence process, provides capital, secures financing and takes responsibility for managing and marketing the centers on behalf of the partnership once the development or acquisition is complete. OIA’s management team, which possesses more than a combined sixty years of experience managing freestanding and hospital based facilities, provides a turnkey solution that minimizes the effort and risks involved in operating outpatient imaging centers. OIA centers range from single to full-modality facilities offering PET/CT, MR, CT, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry (DEXA) and plain film X-ray procedures. OIA was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
About the Role

Description

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA), an owner and operator of over 60+ outpatient imaging center locations in 19 states, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance Team.  


Our Finance Manager is responsible for financial planning and analysis management of the company. This position provides financial insights to drive results and ensure operational efficiency across the organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance and working closely with senior leadership, you’ll partner with operations, sales and marketing, and other business functions to enhance and better integrate finance to support the company’s goals. This will include maintaining, developing, and presenting the company’s financial management reports and financial models. You will support your team to develop operating budgets and forecasts, lead the preparation of materials and presentations for various audiences including the Board of Directors, and guide projects from conception through implementation.

Responsibilities Include:

· Lead an FP&A team that creates proactive working partnerships with budget owners to ensure financial discipline in operations.

· Perform/supervise the production of timely financial analytics related to monthly close, financial performance, and budgeting/planning for all company divisions including joint ventures.

· Develop the annual budgets for all business partners and OIA corporate functions as well as ongoing forecasts to ensure achievement of targets and goals.

· Maintain financial performance by monitoring financial and operations metrics, analyzing results and trends, providing budget variance feedback, and driving financial accountability.

· Oversee effective capital planning efforts, including business case development for capital expenditures and other investments as well as disciplined working capital management.

· Motivate, direct, and develop a team of senior financial analysts to achieve individual and department goals and enhance staff morale by providing guidance, orientation, training, and support. Participate in performance reviews, conflict management, and any necessary corrective actions.

· Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external constituents regarding financial reporting and analytics, ensuring proper status communication concerning timelines and expectations.

· Partner with accounting/finance staff to ensure accruals/entries are timely and accurate for monthly close.

· Lead in the development of and ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and overall company control environment (i.e., support annual audit efforts of company).

  

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required.

· Four to eight years progressive finance and/or accounting experience (preferably within healthcare services).

· Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

· Experience with Oracle systems (EPM, ERP) highly preferred.

· Experience working in private equity-backed companies is a plus.

· Skilled in financial analysis, detail-oriented, and proficient in building and using complicated data sources, financial modeling, and multi-year projections.

· Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare revenue cycle accounting preferred.

· Strong analytical thinker and advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

· A strong team leader, team builder, team player with a track record in crafting effective processes, developing and implementing operational plans, and building new strategies.

· A solid understanding of system and business processes, as well as healthcare financial issues.

· Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) – both financial and operational.

· Excellent communications skills – including written, oral, presentation and listening.

· Assure satisfaction of key stakeholders by providing high quality support and by responding appropriately to outcomes and to feedback. 

· Understand all the job functions of finance, accounting, and revenue cycle as well as the process flow across departments, and involve them, as appropriate, when actions may impact their work functions.

· Establish and maintain key working relationships with leadership across the organization.

· Ability to work with Revenue Cycle to ensure revenue optimization/realization.

· Develop and grow professionally as needed through business affiliations, seminars, and workshops to keep abreast of trends in finance, accounting, revenue cycle management, and healthcare in general.
