About the Role
Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Memphis, TN (Shelby County)

Job Purpose: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Apis Services, you will be a key player in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Under the guidance of the Home Supervisor/QIDP, you will support the vision and outcomes outlined in each person's Individual Support Plan (ISP) or Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP), ensuring their safety and well-being while helping them thrive in their community.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene (when necessary), bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Physical Support: Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs as needed.
Household Tasks: Prepare meals and cook as required.
Community Engagement: Transport individuals within the community.
Medication Administration: (for Community Living settings only).

Required Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus.
Other Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess a valid driver's license from TN, AR, or MS. Must have had a driver's license for at least three years with no suspensions or revocations. Candidates must also pass all required pre-employment screenings, including criminal background checks and drug tests.

Hourly Pay $15.00


Work Location & Shift:

-Caroustie - Saturday & Sunday 11-7a

-Egypt Central - Saturday & Sunday 7p-7a

-Hallbrook - Saturday & Sunday 7p-7a

-Walnut Hall - Friday & Saturday 11p-7a

                      Saturday & Sunday 11p-7a
