Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Consulting (PMC) team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex, large-scale projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive strategic project initiatives that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, analytical expertise, and a proven track record of successfully managing multimillion-dollar projects in dynamic environments.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and implement corrective actions to ensure project objectives are met
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability while maintaining high performance standards
- Manage stakeholder communications, including clients, vendors, and internal teams; provide regular status updates and escalate issues proactively
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies; implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions
- Oversee contract negotiations, vendor management, and procurement processes to optimize costs and ensure compliance
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures; analyze variances and implement cost control measures to maintain financial performance
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilize project management tools and software to track deliverables, resources, and timelines; generate performance reports and analytics
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the professional development of the PMC team
Qualifications
- Minimum10 years of professional project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies including PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with project management software and tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with budgets exceeding AED 20 million
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in contract management, vendor negotiation, and procurement processes
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk management, quality assurance, and compliance frameworks
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
