Outside Brands is seeking a driven, high-performing Operations Manager to help lead and execute programs within our Destination Management Company (DMC) division. This is an opportunity for experienced hospitality and event professionals to step into a role where your operational expertise and design flair directly shapes the delivery of corporate retreats, executive programs, and custom group experiences.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager serves as a central operational leader responsible for coordinating staffing, logistics, and execution across multiple programs. You will work closely with Program Managers, guides, captains, and partners to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client experiences.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in hospitality operations, resort operations, event management, or destination management.

  

Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution

  • Coordinate operational logistics across multiple programs and events
  • Ensure staffing, equipment, and operational readiness
  • Support seamless execution of corporate retreats and group programs
  • Identify and proactively resolve operational challenges

Staffing & Team Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate guides, captains, and operational staff
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage for all programs
  • Support onboarding and operational readiness of team members

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics with vendors, venues, and partners
  • Ensure alignment across all program components
  • Maintain strong operational relationships with trusted partners

Operational Systems & Coordination

  • Maintain operational schedules, calendars, and planning systems
  • Support efficient execution through strong organization and coordination
  • Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards

On-Site Operational Support

  • Provide operational leadership support during programs
  • Serve as an operational resource during execution
  • Help ensure exceptional quality and professionalism 


Requirements

  

Ideal Candidate Background

Candidates with experience at organizations such as:

  • Corporate event companies
  • Destination management companies
  • Luxury hospitality or experiential operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years experience in hospitality operations, event operations, or related field
  • Strong organizational and operational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and operational mindset

Preferred:

  • Experience in resort operations, event management, or DMC environments
  • Experience coordinating staff, logistics, and vendors
  • Familiarity with Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Savannah
