About the Role

Description

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to support activities within a classified NIWC PAC environment. The Analyst provides Tier I/II-level operational monitoring, incident response coordination, and technical troubleshooting across classified and unclassified network enclaves. 


San Diego, CA (100% Onsite) 


Core Responsibilities

Technical Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot Windows workstation and server issues.

• Support Active Directory account issues, password resets, and access management.

• Assist with network connectivity troubleshooting and port-level diagnostics.

• Provide support for VPN connectivity and remote access issues.

• Support PKI credential and token troubleshooting.

Enclave & System Support

• Operate within both classified and unclassified network enclaves.

• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and operational procedures.

Documentation & Process Compliance

• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within ticketing systems.

• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalation paths.

• Contribute to process improvement recommendations and workflow optimization efforts.

Requirements

Clearance:

Secret


Certification:

DoD IAT Level I certification (e.g., Network+, A+).


• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Active Directory environments.

• Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD or classified environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and event management platforms.

• Knowledge of ITIL service management principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
