About the Role

Description

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced NMCI Lead to oversee and coordinate NMCI support operations including IT Store services, Moves/Adds/Changes (MAC), Mobile Device support, and WinDAR asset management functions. This role serves as the primary operational lead responsible for ensuring compliance with NMCI processes, maintaining service quality, and coordinating day-to-day activities across supported functional areas. The NMCI Lead works directly with government stakeholders to ensure timely execution of requirements while maintaining strict adherence to Navy and DoD policies.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Serve as the primary point of contact for NMCI operational matters.

• Coordinate daily activities across IT Store, MAC, Mobile, and WinDAR functions.

• Ensure adherence to NMCI processes, SLAs, and Navy compliance standards.

• Track performance metrics and provide status updates to leadership.

• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Provide task coordination and workflow guidance.

IT Store Support

• Oversee NMCI IT Store operations including equipment issuance and returns.

• Ensure accurate processing of hardware/software requests within NMCI systems.

• Maintain compliance with property accountability and asset tracking procedures.

• Support customer engagement for hardware refresh and lifecycle management.

Moves / Adds / Changes (MAC)

• Coordinate workstation relocations, reconfigurations, and new installations.

• Ensure proper NMCI request submission and tracking for MAC activities.

• Validate network connectivity, port activation, and workstation readiness.

• Ensure minimal disruption to operational users during MAC execution.

Mobile Device Support

• Oversee provisioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of government-issued mobile devices.

• Support NMCI mobility services including device enrollment and configuration.

• Ensure compliance with Navy mobile security policies and configuration standards.

• Coordinate mobile device refresh and replacement cycles.

One of the following:

CySA+ 

Security+ 

CCNA - Security 

GICSP 

GSEC 

SSCP 


 Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience supporting NMCI environments.

• Experience with IT Store operations, MAC processes, and asset management systems.

• Strong understanding of Navy IT policies and NMCI workflows.

• Demonstrated experience in operational coordination or lead capacity.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting classified and unclassified Navy enclaves.

• Familiarity with WinDAR.

• ITIL knowledge or service management experience.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
